Smoky Mountain Romance

This quarter we have our final shooting class at Ohio University. It revolves around a ten day shoot in an area of our choosing exploring a topic and then creating our own magazine from the content that we gathered.

I decided to head down to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and look at the relationship between people and the land. Specifically looking at how tourism has come to define many of the small towns surrounding the park. Here are a few images from the ten days. I’ll post the project on my main site when I’ve finished editing and working it into the magazine I’ve been creating.

Enough of a break from actually writing the essay that will be in the magazine and designing the twenty-four page spread.
Back to it.

Thanks for looking,
